Irene O. Bakos, M.D., certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, provides comprehensive eye examinations for adults and older children. She diagnoses and treats medical diseases and disorders of the eye.

Dr. Bakos holds a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences degree from Loyola University and her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. She also did her internship in Pathology and her residency in Ophthalmology at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.

Dr. Bakos is a member of the American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Association, DuPage County Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmologists, and Illinois Association of Ophthalmologists.
