Janet A. Lee, M.D.
Janet A. Lee, M.D., specializes in corneal and external diseases of the eye and refractive surgery. She diagnoses and treats disorders of the front portion of the eye including corneal infections, inflammatory conditions, corneal dystrophies and degenerations, and disorders of the eyelid and conjunctiva. Her surgical interests include cataract, corneal transplant, and refractive surgeries.

Dr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude, in biology, from Brown University and a Medical Doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following graduation, Dr. Lee completed her internship at McNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lee furthered her training during a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has been involved in research throughout her career.

Dr. Lee is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

Dr. Lee has office hours at our Wheaton, Naperville and Hinsdale locations.
