Terry G. Voirin, D.O.
Cataract and LASIK Surgery

Terry G. Voirin, D.O., certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology, specializes in cataract and LASIK surgery.

Dr. Voirin earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Illinois College and a medical doctorate from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Chicago Osteopathic, Our Lady of Mercy and Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospitals. This was followed by an ophthalmology residency at Chicago Osteopathic and Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospitals were he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Voirin is certified on both the VISX and the Wavelight Allegretto lasers. He has been assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois in Peoria where he taught both medical students and residents.

Dr.Voirin is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association and the Illinois Medical Society.

Dr.Voirin and his wife, a master’s trained school social worker, have two school-aged sons. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid biker and swimmer.

Dr.Voirin has office hours at our Wheaton, Naperville, Hinsdale and Plainfield locations.
