OPHTHALMIC
TECHNICIAN
Duties:
Ophthalmic testing responsibilities include a variety of
tasks.
Qualifications:
Must
have experience or training in:
- Refraction
- Applanation tonometry
- Humphrey visual
fields
- Medicare compliant
history taking
- OCT3, GDx, VCC,
Goldmann Visual Fields and Retinal Antiography preferred
Hours:
40 hours per week, including some Wednesday or Thursday
evenings, or Saturday mornings
Location:
Possible travel between Wheaton Eye Clinic locations

SURGERY SCHEDULER
Duties:
- Work with patients to schedule surgery dates and pre-op testing
- Handle insurance pre-certification and referral requests
- Ancillary services: MRI/CT scans/EKG/labwork
- Additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
- One year surgery scheduling experience preferred
- ICD-9/CPT coding experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Experience in transcribing medical correspondence
Hours:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location:
Flexibility to work at Wheaton, Naperville, Hinsdale or Plainfield locations
