• Sudden increased redness or bloody discharge
• Sudden increased purulent (pus) discharge
• Bleeding that is excessive or does not stop
• Eye pain accompanied by nausea or decrease in vision
• Flashing lights or a dark curtain coming down over the vision of your eye
