Christine

Chrsitine“Some optical shops are all about salesmanship, not optical care, but that’s not what we’re about here at the Wheaton Eye Clinic,” says Christine. “We have great communication between the opticians and doctors so we work together to solve problems. Other places specialize in cookie cutter prescriptions, filling the same simple ones over and over again. But we deal with complex cases, over a large variety of medical conditions, every day.”

Christine became an optician more than a dozen years ago after first working as a frame stylist, optician, assistant retail manager and then regional training manager for a large optical store chain. “Most of that training was conducted in such large groups that we’d hold training sessions in hotel ballrooms. At the Wheaton Eye Clinic we are given ongoing, in-house training led by individuals who are some of the best technical experts in the industry. Given the type of work we do, it’s critical that we have the most current information and training.”

Christine and her husband enjoy bowling and home remodeling projects.

Christine works in the Naperville location of the Wheaton Eye Clinic.
