Nick

NickNick says it was his big brother, Danny, who introduced him to the optical business over 30 years ago. He began in the stock department of a large optical retailer, learning about frames and lenses. But his real goal was to become a dispensing optician. Two years later, at the age of 20, he was named the youngest manager in the optical department of a large Chicago hospital. Nick became state certified by the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners in the mid 90’s and joined the Wheaton Eye Clinic team almost ten years ago.

“At the Wheaton Eye Clinic everyone puts a little more effort into patient care,” he says.  “We actually think about integrity and the quality of service we provide and are truly driven to satisfying each and every patient. I describe my patient care philosophy as being committed to giving ‘Knock Your Socks Off Service.’ My long-time patients and fellow employees are always asking, “How are your socks?’”

Married and the father of two teen-agers, Nick likes to travel and also enjoys boating, water skiing and fishing.
