Dr. Kovoor is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who provides general eye care for adults and older children. He diagnoses and treats medical diseases and disorders of the eye, and specializes in refractive cataract surgery with a focus on optimizing outcomes using the latest technology.
Dr. Kovoor earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University where he graduated as University Valedictorian. He earned his Medical Doctorate at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine in New York City. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as chief resident.
