Gregory L. Fenton, M.D. specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous. He provides laser and surgical treatment for a broad range of eye diseases including retinal detachment, macular holes, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Education

Dr. Fenton earned a Bachelor’s Degree magna cum laude, in molecular biology, from Princeton University and a Medical Doctorate from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following graduation, he completed his internship at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare in Evanston, IL, and residency in ophthalmology at the Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Fenton furthered his training during a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the New England Eye Center, Tufts Medical Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston in Boston, MA. 

Experience

Dr. Fenton has produced publications and presentations on a number of retinal and vitreoretinal topics.  He also has made significant contributions to educational resources in ophthalmology including The Wills Eye Manual, a resource used worldwide.

Dr. Fenton is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
