Chandni Duphare, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a subspeciality in inflammatory and infectious eye diseases (uveitis) and eye diseases related to the immune system in both adults and children. Her services include cataract surgery in both comprehensive and uveitic patients, ocular injections and lasers.
Dr. Duphare earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia in Athens. She earned her Medical Doctorate at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta after which she completed a transitional year internship at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Dr. Duphare completed a 3-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where she was chief resident. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship in Ocular immunology and Uveitis at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.
This training has allowed Dr. Duphare the knowledge to manage both infectious and inflammatory disorders, using a variety of treatments including steroid-sparing agents and intraocular injections. She utilizes the expertise of and coordinates care with subspecialists to provide the most complete and best care for her patients.
During her fellowship, Dr. Duphare was involved in many clinical trials and was awarded the travel grant at the American Uveitis Society Winter Symposium.

Dr. Duphare enjoys biking and reading in her free time. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
