Colleen M. Govekar, O.D. specializes in pediatrics, binocular vision, and eye muscle training for children.
Dr. Govekar graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her doctorate with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
Dr. Govekar completed a pediatric and binocular vision residency at the Illinois College of Optometry. During this time she gained experience with externships at the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago and University of Chicago hospital.
Dr. Govekar is certified by the Illinois Board of Examiners.
Dr. Govekar is a member of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Govekar is also on staff in the Pediatrics/Binocular Vision Service at the Illinois College of Optometry/Illinois Eye Institute.
