Dr. Voirin earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, and a medical doctorate from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Chicago Osteopathic, Our Lady of Mercy and Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospitals. This was followed by an ophthalmology residency at Chicago Osteopathic and Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospitals where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Voirin served as an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois in Peoria where he taught both medical students and residents.
