Wheaton Eye Clinic is happy to announce two new physicians who have joined our team: Kelly Laurenti, M.D., Pediatric Ophthalmology/Adult Strabismus and Chandni Duphare, M.D., Ocular Immunology/Uveitis.
Dr. Duphare specializes in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis, cataracts, and general eye diseases. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She earned her Medical Doctorate at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia thereafter she completed a transitional year internship at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia and then moved on to complete her residency at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia where she was Chief Resident. Following her residency, she completed her fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Laurenti specializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus. He received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and received his medical doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He then went on to start his residency program at Aurora Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and he completed his Ophthalmology residency program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Laurenti returned to Chicago to complete his fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dr. Laurenti was an attending physician at Lurie Children’s Hospital and was assistant professor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine for several years before joining Wheaton Eye.
